Wellbeing Support

Experiencing exploitation can have a lasting impact on emotional wellbeing. People may experience anxiety, low mood, flashbacks, difficulties sleeping, loss of confidence or find it difficult to trust others and feel safe.

Our Wellbeing Support service provides trauma informed, person centred support that helps individuals understand the impact of trauma, develop healthy coping strategies and build resilience. Support is tailored to each person’s needs, strengths and goals, recognising that recovery looks different for everyone.

Support may include:

  • One to one wellbeing sessions.
  • Therapeutic coaching and emotional support.
  • Practical techniques to manage stress, anxiety and overwhelming emotions.
  • Creative and strengths-based approaches to improve wellbeing.
  • Building confidence, self-esteem and resilience.
  • Goal setting and developing strategies to support long term recovery.

Our aim is not to tell people what recovery should look like, but to provide a safe and supportive space where they can explore their experiences, build on their strengths and move towards the future they want for themselves.

I am so pleased that you told me about the brain and the body. I am now able to notice and think about my brain reactions and safety when I get triggered.
